2024 UK Championship Snooker Qualifying Rounds: Full draw, results, format, schedule, how to watch

One of the sport’s biggest events and most prestigious titles, the 2024 UK Championship carries an overall prize fund of £1,205,000, with £250,000 going to the eventual winner.
In total, 144 players are set to compete in the 2024 UK Championship, although only 32 will feature at the Barbican Centre in York for the televised stages which are played between November 23 to December 1.

The world’s top 16 players (following the 2024 International Championship) all automatically make it through to York and will be seeded there. They will be joined by the 16 qualifiers who are successful in Leicester.
What is the format for the 2024 UK Championship Snooker Qualifying Rounds?
The UK Championship currently uses a tiered draw format, meaning players enter the event depending on their world ranking position.
There are four qualifying rounds, with 128 players scheduled to take part at the Mattioli, although there are only 16 tickets to join the world’s top 16 in York.
The make-up of the four qualifying rounds is as follows:
- Qualifying Round One (32 matches): seeds 81 to 112 v seeds 113 to 144
- Qualifying Round Two (32 matches): seeds 49 to 80 v winners from qualifying round one
- Qualifying Round Three (32 matches): seeds 17 to 48 v winners from qualifying round two
- Qualifying Round Four (16 matches): winners from qualifying round three to face each other
All matches at the qualifiers are the best of 11 frames with a mid-session interval scheduled after the fourth frame.

The 16 qualifiers will then be drawn at random to face one of the top 16 seeds in York.
Who is playing at the 2024 UK Championship Snooker qualifiers?
In short, everyone who has entered the 2024 UK Championship and is ranked outside of the world’s top 16 will need to go to these qualifying rounds in Leicester.
This includes several well-known names who just missed the cut for automatic qualification, including three-time UK Champion Neil Robertson, this year’s World Championship runner-up Jak Jones, and multiple-time ranking event winner Barry Hawkins.
Jimmy White, Matthew Stevens and Stephen Maguire - all winners of the UK Championship title - are set for action, as too are former World Champions Graeme Dott and Stuart Bingham.

Several amateur players have also been invited to the qualifiers to fill the 128 quota. This includes 2021 UK Championship winner Zhao Xintong and reigning World Seniors Snooker Champion Igor Figueiredo.
Zhao - who has won back-to-back Q Tour titles in recent weeks, and made a maximum 147 break in each event - could make a sensational return to the scene of his greatest triumph, so far, just months after returning from his ban from the sport.
What is the schedule for the 2024 UK Championship Snooker Qualifying Rounds?

- Monday 18th November: Qualifying Round Two/Qualifying Round Three
- Tuesday 19th November: Qualifying Round Three
- Wednesday 20th November (13:00 & 19:00 sessions): Qualifying Round Four

- Loser in Qualifying Round One: £0
- Loser in Qualifying Round Two: £2,500
- Loser in Qualifying Round Three: £5,000
- Loser in Qualifying Round Four: £7,500
- The 16 Qualifiers are guaranteed at least £10,000 for reaching the main venue in York.
Whilst these prize money amounts are guaranteed, if a player loses their opening match in the tournament, they will receive no ranking points.
There is a £15,000 high break bonus on offer for the 2024 UK Championship - regardless of whether that is made in the qualifying rounds in Leicester or the televised stages in York.

The £147,000 bonus for two maximum 147 breaks made during the season in the four biggest events is back in play. Having made a 147 at the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters, Noppon Saengkham would bank a £147,000 bonus if he completes perfection during the UK Championship in any round.
