Noppon Saengkham makes a maximum 147 break at the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters
The Thai ace registered the 15 reds, 15 blacks run in the opening frame of his round three match against Iran's Amir Sarkhosh at the Green Halls in Riyadh.
If perfection wasn’t enough, Saengkham followed it up with a run of 108 in frame two and a 104 in the match-winning frame five as he recorded a 4-1 victory to progress into the last 48.

A new addition to the World Snooker Tour, the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters is the biggest professional event ever to be held outside of the United Kingdom with a total prize fund of over £2.3 million. The champion on September 7 will pocket a £500,000 top prize.
It is the first time that Saudi has hosted a ranking event, although there have been several ranked snooker tournaments in the past within the Middle East region. The last one before this was the one-off Bahrain Championship in Manama in 2008 where Marcus Campbell made a 147 break during his victory in the wildcard round. For a full list of all professional 147s, visit here.
Saengkham's latest maximum break is the third of his professional career, and overall it is the 203rd official 147 in professional snooker competition. The world number 26 actually made the last 147 on the pro tour in April at the World Championship Qualifiers in Sheffield.
Should no-one else makes a maximum 147 break in this event, Saengkham will bank a £50,000 bonus for his feat. If more than one player does, the prize will be equally shared.

The 32-year-old will now also have his sights set on an additional £147,000 bonus if he makes another 147 in this event, or at the UK Championship, Masters or World Championship. More on that prize here.
