2024 Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters Information: Draw, results, format, prize money, schedule, how to watch
The third ranking event of the 2024/25 World Snooker Tour season, this new tournament is the sport's biggest-ever event to be held outside of the UK and has been promoted by organisers as snooker's 'fourth major'.

Carrying a huge total prize fund of £2.3 million - just short of the World Snooker Championship's overall money pot - the champion will receive the same amount that Kyren Wilson did at the Crucible a few months ago with a £500,000 reward.
All 144 contestants in the 2024 Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters will play at the main venue in Riyadh. This is unlike other big-field events on the professional tour where there are ‘qualifiers’ held at a different venue and sometimes in a different country. As well as the professional players in the draw, there are several Q School top up amateurs and 17 wildcards from the Middle East.
The competition will feature a tiered draw, meaning players enter the tournament in different rounds depending on their world ranking from before the recent Xi'an Grand Prix. In summary, the lowest ranked players and amateurs will start in round one, whilst the top 16 don't come in until round five (last 32). In total, there are nine rounds with a round played and completed each day.

All of snooker’s biggest names are set for Riyadh, including seven-time world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan, current world champion Kyren Wilson, and world number one Judd Trump. The world’s current top seven ranked players are all in contention of leaving the Middle East as the world number one.
Whilst this will be Saudi Arabia’s first professional ranking event, ranked competition in the Middle East region is not a new thing as both the Dubai Classic and Bahrain Championship have been staged in the area before. A total of 30 different nations/areas are set to represented in the competition.
