Thepchaiya Un-Nooh makes maximum 147 break at the 2026 International Championship
Thepchaiya Un-Nooh compiled his latest maximum 147 break on the World Snooker Tour at the 2026 International Championship.
Thailand’s Un-Nooh completed snooker perfection in the opening frame of his last 32 match with Mark Williams at the SNC National Fitness Centre in Nanjing on Monday. The feat took just 7 minutes and 20 seconds.

It is the eighth time that Un-Nooh has fashioned a maximum 147 break in professional competition, and he is in line to collect the £5,000 tournament highest break prize at this year’s International Championship. The effort eclipses the previous benchmark of 146 that was set by Joe O’Connor the day before.
Un-Nooh's first top-flight 147 came at the 2016 Paul Hunter Classic in Germany. Last season, he racked up three maximums, the last of those coming in the final of the 2026 World Open where he defeated Ronnie O'Sullivan with a spectacular display.
The world number 23 moves into outright seventh on the all-time list of most prolific 147 makers in pro competition; he previously shared the slot with Ding Junhui. O'Sullivan is top of this list with 17, four clear of second-placed John Higgins.
A total of 247 officially recognised maximum breaks have now been made in snooker's big time. Un-Nooh's effort is the sixth of the season, with the last having come near the end of July at the Shanghai Masters by Xiao Guodong.
Despite his celebrations, though, Un-Nooh went on to lose his match with Williams, as the three-time World Champion booked a place in the last 16 with a 6-3 victory.
