2026 International Championship: World Champion Wu Yize continues hot streak with century hat-trick
World Snooker Champion Wu Yize put on a scoring clinic as he advanced to the last 32 of the 2026 International Championship being held in Nanjing, China.
Wu stretched his winning streak on the World Snooker Tour to eight matches after defeating Robbie Williams, 6-1, to progress in the £825,000 world ranking event and keep his title defence going.

The 23-year-old - who whitewashed Hammad Miah in round one on Saturday - compiled breaks of 90, 118, 98 and 137 in establishing a 5-0 lead in his latest outing.
World number 53 Williams messed up his opponent's clean sheet by claiming frame six with a run of 94, but Wu wrapped up the match in style with a 129 - his third century of the day.
Last month, Wu secured his first title since his Crucible triumph in early May at the Shenzhen Open before withdrawing from the Northern Ireland Open held a couple of weeks later due to medical reasons.
Having won this International Championship crown last year - his maiden top-flight snooker title - Wu is defending a professional accolade for the first time. Next up for him is a meeting with Stephen Maguire on Monday in the last 32.
World number one Zhao Xintong is another big star name still on course in the Far East.
The 2025 World Snooker Champion was in a spot of bother when he trailed David Lilley, 4-3, but strung together the next three frames - including a break of 133 in the ninth - to emerge a 6-4 victor.
Zhao will meet Sam Craigie in round three. Craigie seemed to show no ill effects from his agonising semi-final loss at the Northern Ireland Open last weekend as he dispatched Stan Moody, 6-1.
Former world under-21 champion Craigie - who in Belfast was within a few pots of making his maiden ranking final - racked up runs of 93, 68, 130, 107 and 61 in the victory. Moody avoided a donut with a 123 in frame five.
It was a day of high-scoring at the SNC National Fitness Centre. Pang Junxu made 143, 115, 90, 88, 81 and 74 during a 6-2 win over rookie Mina Awad from Egypt.
World number 11 and current Scottish Open Champion Chris Wakelin (120 break) shaded Long Zehuang, 6-5, but three-time ranking event winner Gary Wilson was dismissed by Xu Si, 6-4.
In the final result of the day, Daniel Wells (113, 101) just managed to get the better of fellow Welshman Duane Jones, 6-5.
Earlier on Sunday, a plethora of big star names advanced in Nanjing, although two-time International Championship winner Judd Trump had his campaign ended by Fan Zhengyi.
The last 32 is set to be played and completed on Monday across three sessions.
