Title holder, world champ, and world number one all reach Wuhan Open last 32
The last 32 line-up for the 2025 Wuhan Open is now complete and 11 of the world's current top 16 ranked players have made it through.
Amongst those set to feature in round three on Tuesday include defending Wuhan Open champion Xiao Guodong, reigning World Champion Zhao Xintong, and world number one Judd Trump.

Xiao - who made a 147 during his first round win on Sunday - registered runs of 72, 70, 127 and 86 as he eliminated Indian number one Ishpreet Singh Chadha, 5-2.
Elsewhere during a bumper evening session in China, the inaugural winner of this title in 2023 Trump compiled century breaks in successive frames (119 and 111) on his way to defeating Liu Hongyu, 5-1. Current 'Crucible King' Zhao also crafted back-to-back tons (138 and 132) as he saw off the experienced challenge of Matthew Stevens, 5-3.
Shaun Murphy notched up a break of exactly 100 in a 5-0 whitewash win, while John Higgins and Mark Allen (120 break) were comfortable 5-1 victors.
However, two very big names exited the £700,000 world ranking event on Monday as host nation hero Ding Junhui was defeated 5-3 by teenager Stan Moody, and Ireland's number one Aaron Hill got the better of world number two Kyren Wilson.
On centre stage in China, former world number one Ding began very well with a 117 in the opening frame but Moody (runs of 64 and 65) twice levelled up from behind before the mid-session interval.
On resumption, 18-year-old Moody crafted efforts of 53 and 131 as he took control at 4-2 up. Ding clung on with frame seven, but Moody wrapped up one of the most impressive victories of his young professional career with a match-winning contribution of 77 in frame eight.
THE BIGGEST WIN OF STAN MOODY'S CAREER! 👏

Hill is gaining quite a reputation for dispatching the sport's top ranked stars from events. One of the most improved players on the World Snooker Tour over the past couple of seasons, the 23-year-old from Cork chalked up breaks of 60, 124 and 56 in his 5-2 triumph over recent Shanghai Masters champion Wilson.
For the second time this month, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh made a maximum 147 break on the World Snooker Tour.
The Thai struck perfection in the final frame of his 5-1 win over Pang Junxu. It is the second maximum in as many days following Xiao's endeavour, and it sets a new record in professional snooker history as it’s the first time that five 147s have been fashioned within the same calendar month.
UNBELIEVABLE! 🇹🇭

Yuan Sijun, Scott Donaldson (102 break), Hossein Vafaei, Stephen Maguire, Lei Peifan, and Tom Ford were Monday's other winners in the Far East. Current Shoot Out champion Ford - who will face Reanne Evans next - racked up breaks of 62, 82, 96, 75 and 91 during his victory.
All the round three (last 32) matches will take place on Tuesday at the Optics Valley Gymnasium of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. There are several standout ties including: Trump v Jack Lisowski, Zhao v Maguire, Murphy v Gary Wilson, Mark Williams v Joe O’Connor, and Si Jiahui v Jackson Page.
