It's going to be a bumper Tuesday at the 2024 Wuhan Open as the entire round three schedule will be completed across afternoon and evening sessions at the China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Centre.

A total of 32 players will remain in pursuit of the £140,000 first prize at the start of the day's action, but come the end of it, that number will be halved.

World Champion Kyren Wilson has relinquished just one frame during his opening two matches, and he’ll hope to continue that strike rate when he meets Xiao Guodong in the afternoon’s play.

Other highlights of the opening session in the Far East include last year’s runner-up Ali Carter against Marco Fu, and former World Champion Shaun Murphy versus Noppon Saengkham.

Reigning Wuhan Open champion Judd Trump has still yet to lose in this competition’s history, and he puts that 100% record on the line once again when he faces Anthony McGill on the evening programme.

Si Jiahui, Zhang Anda, John Higgins and Ding Junhui are the other top 16 stars set for the baize during the final session of the day.
