2024 Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters: Day Two Preview, Matches, Order of Play

Once again, eight tables will be used at the Green Halls in Riyadh, with two sessions starting at 12:00BST and 18:00BST, and two blocks of matches in each session. Fixtures continue to be the best of seven frames with no interval.

Snooker legend Jimmy White was a 4-2 winner over Mohamed Shebab in round one, and the 62-year-old continues his Saudi campaign with a meeting against Andrew Higginson in the afternoon session.

Mohamed Elkhayat is the last remaining regional amateur wildcard who was invited to the new World Snooker Tour event. The Egyptian recovered from 3-1 down to oust Baipat Siripaporn 4-3 on Friday, and he now faces 2018 European Masters Champion Jimmy Robertson.

2006 World Champion Graeme Dott withdrew mid-event from last week’s Xi’an Grand Prix due to medical reasons, although the Scot is still technically undefeated this season from seven matches. Dott plays Julien Leclercq who was in very good scoring form during his round one win over Dylan Emery.

In the evening session, last season’s Rookie of the Year He Guoqiang shares the baize with Antoni Kowalski, who is making his professional debut this season.

There is a tasty all-teenage encounter between 19-year-old Liam Pullen and 17-year-old Stan Moody. The two met each other in the 2023 World Snooker Federation Junior Championship final in Australia. On that occasion, Moody won 5-1 to secure his professional tour card.

Having defeated Ken Doherty 4-3 in the last 144, teenager Liam Davies faces another experienced, multiple-time ranking event winner in the shape of Marco Fu.
