Jimmy White qualifies for the 2024 Northern Ireland Open main venue
Following his opening round win on Saturday - which also came courtesy of a deciding frame - the 10-time ranking event winner started well against Page, as breaks of 61 and 50 helped him establish a 2-0 lead before the next two frames were shared.

A ranking event finalist at the Championship League earlier this season, youngster Page took the next two frames to force the match all the way, but it was White who controlled and eventually won frame seven to advance. The 62-year-old can now make plans for his trip to the Waterfront Hall in Belfast next month for the last 64 phase when the tournament's top 32 seeds enter the fray.
Elsewhere at Ponds Forge, former Welsh Open champion Jordan Brown qualified for the televised stages of his home event as he compiled a break of 113 during a 4-1 win over teenage rookie Liam Davies.
A surprise semi-finalist at the first Home Nations Series event of the season last week, India's Ishpreet Singh Chadha continued his fine form as he saw off Ashley Carty, 4-1.

There were several century breaks made in Sheffield on Sunday, the biggest of which (at time of writing) came from Yuan Sijun who constructed a 142 in a 4-0 whitewash of Liam Graham.
A maximum break maker at the recent English Open, Fan Zhengyi was notching up three-figure contributions again, this time 114 and 117 en route to a 4-2 success against Liam Pullen.
Louis Heathcote (134), Long Zehaung (128), David Grace (127), Jiang Jun (105) and Lei Peifan (101) also registered tons during their respective victories.

Elliot Slessor and Rory Thor both had pleasing runs at the British Open, and they capped off their weeks by advancing to the final rounds of this £550,400 ranking event. Thor finished his win with a 109.
Victor of the invitational Northern Ireland Trophy in 2005 at the Waterfront Hall, Matthew Stevens is set to be travelling back there as he top scored with a 101 in a 4-1 win over impressive rookie Gong Chenzhi.
Ben Woollaston made a 133 to lead 3-1 and reach the hill in his match, but his teenage opponent Stan Moody totted up breaks of 96, 64 and 58 as he took the final three frames for a 4-3 comeback success.
