2024 Northern Ireland Open Snooker: Tuesday 22nd October Preview, Matches, Order of Play

Six-time ranking event winner Ali Carter, and Wu Yize - runner-up at the English Open last month - are both in action during the morning session.
Round three of this £550,400 ranking event is completed during the afternoon session as reigning World Champion Kyren Wilson begins his pursuit of The Alex Higgins Trophy with an opening assignment against David Grace.

Last year’s runner-up Chris Wakelin is back in the Northern Irish capital city, and Mark Williams - title victor here in 2017 - is involved in an-all Welsh affair with Jamie Clarke.
Speaking of derbies, there is also a clash between Thailand’s top two players as Noppon Saengkham and Thepchaiya Un-Nooh share the baize. The two faced each other only a few weeks ago at the British Open; on that occasion Un-Nooh came out on top, 4-0.
The fourth round breaks off in the evening session, with defending champion Judd Trump continuing his challenge for a fifth Northern Ireland Open crown against Matthew Selt. In terms of their career head-to-head record in full ranking event matches, Trump leads 10-1.
Former World Champions Shaun Murphy and Stuart Bingham are both scheduled for action in the second set of evening matches.
