World Snooker Tour
It's the second day of action at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast for the 2024 Northern Ireland Open, and several multiple-time ranking event champions are set to be on the baize.

Recent Wuhan Open runner-up Si Jiahui takes to the stage during the morning session as he faces fellow Chinese cueist Tian Pengfei. Tom Ford also plays in this early session as he aims to kickstart his season and get back into the world's top 16.

New ranking event champion Xiao Guodong - who denied Si in Wuhan earlier this month - features in the early afternoon slot, as does Neil Robertson who meets Graeme Dott in what is a mini-rerun of their 2010 World Championship final encounter.

Huge crowd favourite Jimmy White won two matches to qualify for these televised stages and the 10-time ranking event champion shares the table with Iran's number one Hossein Vafaei.

In the evening session, home hero Mark Allen - back-to-back winner of this title in 2021 and 2022 - is up against Liu Hongyu.

No fewer than seven ranking event champions are on the programme for Monday night; as well as Allen there is Stephen Maguire, Anthony McGill, Barry Hawkins, Matthew Stevens, John Higgins, and Fan Zhengyi.

Please note, Ronnie O’Sullivan was scheduled to play Long Zehuang on Monday afternoon in the last 64, but he withdrew from the event on Sunday night due to medical reasons, according to an article the World Snooker Tour put on its website.
