2024 English Open Snooker: Thursday's Round 1 Matches, Order of Play

The £550,400 tournament is the opening leg of this season’s Home Nations Series, with the Northern Ireland, Scottish and Welsh Opens to come later in the campaign.
There are several changes to Home Nations Series events this season, including the use of a tiered draw format. This means that the top 32 seeds enter the competition in round three (last 64) which begins on Monday 16th September - the same day that the televised stages start.

In action on day one in Brentwood are the lowest ranked seeds, who are trying to reach round two and set up a meeting with a player seeded between 33 to 64.
Four tables will be used during Thursday’s play. All matches are the best of seven frames with no interval.
The opening three days of the 2024 English Open (Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th September) will be shown on the Discovery+ online streaming platform with all four tables covered.
