Fresh from his triumph at the English Open, Neil Robertson will want to continue that winning feeling when he plays Chris Totten in the opening batch of matches in the afternoon session.
Wu Yize - the player Robertson denied in the Brentwood final a couple of days ago - is also scheduled for the same time slot and is up against Chris Wakelin, the player Robertson defeated in the semi-finals of the aforementioned event.
Later in the session, Thailand’s top two players - Noppon Saengkham and Thepchaiya Un-Nooh - are pitched against each other, and it’s Northern Ireland versus the Republic of Ireland when Mark Allen meets Aaron Hill.
World number one Judd Trump could make his 1,000th century break in professional competition in Tuesday’s evening session, but he has a tough assignment with Ryan Day - winner of this title two years ago.
