The last 32 line-up for the inaugural Xi'an Grand Prix professional ranking event is now complete following a busy Tuesday at the Qujiang E-sports Centre in China, and several of snooker's most famous faces are still on course for the £177,000 top prize.

Following a 5-0 whitewash win on Monday, Ronnie O'Sullivan defeated teenage rookie Bulcsu Revesz 5-2 to move into the third round.

Revesz - an exciting 17-year-old prospect from Hungary - took the opening frame with a break of 70, but runs of 78, 82, 57 and 65 helped O'Sullivan claim five of the six next frames.

There were several crushing victories during the evening session in Xi'an as big names flexed their muscles. Shaun Murphy - runner-up at last month's Shanghai Masters invitational - crafted breaks of 103, 76, 100, 84 and 128 in an impressive 5-0 win over Jamie Clarke.

Seven times a winner of a ranking title in China - a joint record he holds with Judd Trump - Mark Selby compiled efforts of 115 and 113 in back to back frames en route to a 5-0 success against Aaron Hill. Pang Junxu will face Selby next; the Chinese cueist whitewashed amateur player Paul Deaville, 5-0.

Between them, Clarke (28), Hill (20) and Deaville (31) were only allowed to score a total of 79 points.

World number one Mark Allen constructed a 131 on his way to denying former World Seniors Snooker Championship winner David Lilley, 5-1.

Stuart Bingham and Jamie Jones were involved in a contest crammed with breaks; Jones totted up 66, 84, 62 and 63, but it was Bingham - aided by 51, 110, 67, 69 and 55 - who emerged a 5-3 victor.

Dominic Dale and Xiao Guodong also went through to Wednesday.

World Champion Kyren Wilson wins during the afternoon session

Crucible King Kyren Wilson slotted into the last 32 following a 5-2 victory over last season's Rookie of the Year, He Guoqiang.

Wilson - who will have his sights on the world number one spot - made breaks of 72, 69 and 57 during the win.

There were mixed fortunes for the other world champions on show in the session, though. Graeme Dott - who crafted a 102 - dispatched world number 12 Zhang Anda, 5-2, but Neil Robertson was eliminated 5-2 by Yuan Sijun.

Ricky Walden has won all three of his career ranking event titles in China, and a fourth could still come later this week as he recovered from 3-0 down to dispatch Anthony McGill, 5-3.

Two-time ranking champion McGill secured the opening frame with a 111, but Walden outdid that with a 137 during his five-frame winning streak.

Former Snooker Shoot Out winners Thepchaiya Un-Nooh (138 break) and Hossein Vafaei (103 break) both advanced to the last 32, as too did Daniel Wells and Xu Si. Xu came back from 4-2 down to oust Alfie Burden - conqueror of Ding Junhui on Monday - 5-4.
