Who is playing today at the 2025 Tour Championship snooker?

Higgins progressed to the 58th world ranking event final of his illustrious career on Friday evening when he defeated Barry Hawkins 10-7.
In a contest which was locked at 4-4 following the opening session, four-time World Champion Higgins was exquisite during the evening's programme as he compiled breaks of 144, 130 and 107.

The 144 is the new highest break of the tournament; earlier in the day Hawkins had fashioned a 140, which surpassed a previous best effort from Higgins.
In a rerun of the 2016 World Championship final at the Crucible, Selby and Ding will share the baize once again in a multi-session encounter.
Both had to start their campaigns this week in the preliminary round; Selby struck two centuries en route to a 10-6 win over Si Jiahui, while Ding also crafted a ton double as he strung together the final seven frames for a 10-3 verdict over Mark Williams.
In the quarter-finals, they eliminated two of the event's top three seeds.

Ding denied reigning World Champion and newly minted Players Championship winner Kyren Wilson 10-5, while Selby crushed Neil Robertson 10-1 - taking the final nine frames of the tie.
Selby and Ding Junhui first met in a professional event at the 2002 China Open when Ding was a teenager amateur wildcard. In terms of the overall head-to-head record between the two, it is a very close read, with Selby just edging it.
Incredibly, it will be the first time they have played each other on the World Snooker Tour since September 2020.
They have faced each other in six multi-session matches before - the count is 3-3.
