Who are the referees at the 2024 Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters in Riyadh?
A new ranking event added to the top tier circuit, the inaugural Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters is set to be the biggest professional snooker tournament ever held outside of the United Kingdom, with over £2.3 million in total prize money, and £500,000 of that going to the champion.
All 144 contestants will play at the venue in the Middle East, and with a tiered draw being used - meaning players enter the fray depending on their world ranking - it means there is a total of nine rounds throughout the competition.

With eight tables being used across the first five rounds, 143 matches to be completed in just nine days, and at a new event and venue, the referees and officials will surely be kept busy.
Many familiar referees are set to play their part in the Middle East, including Tatiana Woollaston, who officiated in Riyadh earlier this year at the first invitational World Masters of Snooker - a different event to this that featured a unique gold ball and the possibility of a maximum 167 break. Neither of those unusual elements will be in play over the coming days.
Olivier Marteel, Leo Scullion and Marcel Eckardt - who have all refereed the World Snooker Championship final at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield - are also scheduled to be putting on the white gloves in the Middle East.
A few months ago, Eckardt officiated the final of the World 9-Ball Pool Championship that was held elsewhere in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah.
There are three referees from the host nation.
