Thepchaiya Un-Nooh strikes 147 bonus jackpot at Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters

Thepchaiya Un-Nooh compiled a maximum 147 break on Sunday afternoon at the 2025 Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters in Jeddah.

The feat of snooker perfection arrived in the second frame of Un-Nooh’s round three match against Jordan Brown at the Green Halls in the Middle East.

It is the fifth 147 break that Un-Nooh has constructed in professional competition, making him one of 16 players to have made five or more maximums on the sport’s top tier.

Following Fan Zhengyi and Zhang Anda's recent efforts at the Championship League and Shanghai Masters respectively, this is the third 147 of the 2025/26 World Snooker Tour season, and the 220nd in professional snooker overall.

Un-Nooh follows in the footsteps of fellow Thai countryman Noppon Saengkham who fashioned a 147 at last year’s inaugural staging of the Saudi Arabia Masters.

How much will Thepchaiya Un-Nooh collect for his Saudi 147 break?

Former Snooker Shoot Out champion Un-Nooh is in-line to collect a £50,000 bonus prize for his latest 147. If further maximum breaks are crafted during this year’s Saudi Arabia Masters, though, the 50k pot will be shared equally.

The current world number 46 - one of the fastest players on the pro snooker tour - is also halfway to unlocking a £147,000 jackpot for himself. If Un-Nooh makes another 147 at this tournament, or at this season’s UK Championship, Masters, or World Championship, he is very likely to scoop the six-figure bonus sum.

Last season, Welsh youngster Jackson Page pocketed the jackpot loot when he created history by producing two 147s within the same match at the World Championship qualifiers.

Elsewhere during his match against Brown, Un-Nooh also registered runs of 68, 95 and 74 in a 4-0 victory. That puts him through to round four where he will meet either former Crucible finalist Jak Jones, or Huang Jiahao.

It has been a decent start to the new season for 40-year-old Un-Nooh. He has qualified for the main venue stages of the Wuhan Open in a few weeks’ time, and he won a phase one group at the Championship League. However, he did lose 4-3 to Long Zehuang at the British Open qualifiers.
