Marco Fu makes 147 break at the 2024 Macau Snooker Masters: Results and match schedule
Hong Kong cueist Fu's feat of perfection arrived in frame six of his match with Wilson when he trailed 3-2.
Having levelled the tie with the maxy, Fu went 4-3 behind, but he finished in style as he fashioned a 115 to force a deciding frame where he made a decisive 70 to win the match.

The ongoing four-day exhibition event (December 25-28) at the Wynn Palace Grand Theater features eight of the world's top snooker players. Initially it was meant to be nine, but Jak Jones withdrew due to personal reasons.
The tournament is organised by Wynn Resort and supported by the Macau Government Tourism Office and Sports Bureau.
Despite the star-studded field, the event is not part of the World Snooker Tour and therefore not officially recognised as a professional tournament. This means that three-time ranking event winner Fu's 147 will not enter the sport's ratified record books.
In recognised top tier competition - with templated pockets and conditions - Fu has compiled five maximum breaks, with his most recent having memorably come on home soil at the 2022 Hong Kong Masters.

At the inaugural staging of the Macau Snooker Masters held here at this time of the year in 2023, Mark Williams defeated Jack Lisowski 9-6 in the final to claim the title. Earlier in that contest, Lisowski compiled a maximum 147 break.
Whilst the first edition of the tournament featured a simple straight-knockout format, this year's offering is a bit confusing, with several predetermined fixtures and Wynn Brand Ambassador Ronnie O'Sullivan playing in all but two of them.
At the time of writing, O’Sullivan has, so far, won all his fixtures, although he is still to play against both Wilson and Stuart Bingham during the final day of action in Macau.
