Jason Ferguson - the long-standing Chairman of snooker's governing body - was a special guest on the very first episode of the Totally Snookered vodcast.

The first episode of the Totally Snookered vodcast is live on ShotsTV (Freeview channel 276) on Thursday 12 June at 22:00.

The head of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association sat down to discuss several subjects and hot topics.

During the show, Ferguson was asked about:

  • His own playing career
  • The role of the WPBSA and it’s relationship with the World Snooker Tour
  • A look at last season and what’s coming up this season
  • New events in Europe?
  • Tour cards for Stephen Hendry and Ken Doherty
  • Whether the Crucible be hosting the World Snooker Championship in 2028

Former professional player and a three-time Crucible qualifier Ferguson explained his administrative role within the sport and how the WPBSA has adapted to a changing landscape. Ferguson also talked about his pleasure and relief of seeing the professional snooker circuit back to full capacity following difficult seasons with Covid event cancellations and the Chinese match-fixing situation.

Ferguson looked ahead to 'the busiest season ever' coming up, and answered questions from fans on social media and through email in the second half of the programme.
